should be fun to learn! We are not a big music

store with a few teachers tucked in the back

room as an after thought. We are a music school

first and foremost. Our philosophy, our facility

and our staff are all operating on the premise that music education is a vital part of a fully formed life and should be a fun experience.

We use the type of music the students want to play to teach the musical concepts and techniques needed to play it. From classical to pop to rock to rap to show tunes to country music (and everything else!). We know that if the student is playing the type of music they like then they will play more at home and assimilate their music into their lifestyle and schedule.

It is well documented that learning music at a young age aids in brain development. The same holds true for older students as well. The person who continually learns throughout their life  stays younger in thought and attitude. Music is a key ingredient for the development of a well rounded individual.

We strive to take you and your music lessons to the next level. We find that it’s easy to get caught up in he cerebral aspect of learning music (the scales, theory, sight reading, etc...) and it often becomes almost an end in itself. Our goal is to take you beyond the technical to the artistic! We want to help you learn to feel and enjoy the music. We want to help you let-loose the artist within, so you can make music that makes you feel...alive.

Remember, it’s called playing music, not working music for a reason! You can have fun with your music and we can help.
